Bengals 27-15 over the Dolphins: QB Tua Tagovaiola left the game with a brutal head injury after he already left the previous the game with a concussion. QB Joe Burrow threw two TD passes and RB Joe Mixon had a rushing TD. QB Teddy Bridgewater did his best work in relief of Tua with one TD and an interception.
Vikings 28-25 over the Saints: In London the Saints had a chance to tie the game and go to overtime but missed a field goal as time expired. Without QB Jameis Winston, WR Michael Thomas and RB Alvin Kamara did their best as QB Andy Dalton had a passing TD, 3rd string RB Latavius Murray had a rushing TD and Taysom Hill had a rushing TD.
Jets 24-20 over the Steelers: Well Steelers fan you got your wish they benched QB Mitchell Trubisky who had an interception for the rookie Kenny Pickett who had three interceptions but had two rushing TDs. For the Jets in QB Zach Wilson’s return he had two interceptions but threw one TD, RB Breece Hall had a rushing TD and WR Braxton Berrios threw a TD pass to Wilson.
Eagles 29-21 over the Jaguars: It was all about the Eagles running game as they had two rushing TDs from Miles Sanders who had 134 yards rushing. QB Jalen Hurts had a rushing TD and so did backup RB Kenneth Gainwell. QB Trevor Lawrence had two passing TDs but it came with an interception and four fumbles. Jacksonville did pick off Hurts early in the game and returned it for a TD.
Giants 20-12 over the Bears: Both QBS for the Giants left with injuries but it was Daniel Jones who did have two rushing TDs. All of Chicago’s points came from an emergency kicker in Mike Badgley.
Titans 24-17 over the Colts: In a battle of the best RBs Derrick Henry came out on top with a rushing TD for 114 yards compared to Jonathan Taylor with no rushing TDs and only 42 yards rushing with an ankle injury. QB Ryan Tannehill had two passing TDs with no turnovers while QB Matt Ryan had two passing TDs with an interception and two fumbles.
Chargers 34-24 over the Texans: In spite of his rib injury QB Justin Herbert looked better as he had two passing TDs and RB Austin Ekeler had two rushing TDs. The Texans missed a field goal, QB Davis Mills had two passing TDs but had two interceptions and a fumble.
Seahawks 48-45 over the Lions: No defense was played as QB Geno Smith had two passing TDs and a rushing TD, while RB Rashaad Penny had two rushing TDs. For Detroit despite missing Amron St Brown and Deandre Swift their backups came up big as Jamaal Williams had two rushing TDs and WR Josh Reynolds had one of QB Jared Goff’s four TD passes, and two went to TE TJ Hockenson. Goff did throw an interception that was returned for a TD.
Cowboys 25-10 over the Commanders: QB Cooper Rush did it again he threw two passing TDs with no turnovers while QB Carson Wentz was sacked but not as bad as last week, but he did threw two interceptions and was sacked twice with only one TD pass.
Bills 23-20 over the Ravens: The Ravens were up 20-10 at halftime but the Bills came back in the second half to outscore them 13-0. RB JK Dobbins announced early in the game he was back with a rushing and a receiving TD. QB Josh Allen overcame an early interception to lead his team back with a rushing and passing TD while kicker Tyler bass scored 15 of their points and hit the game winning field goal. It was QB Lamar Jackson’s two interceptions late that did him in.
Falcons 23-20 over the Browns: The Falcons hit a go ahead field goal late and then QB Jacoby Brissett threw an interception to seal the game for Atlanta. Neither starting QB had a passing TD while both had interceptions. It was about the RBs in the game as RB Nick Chubb had 118 yards with a rushing TD and RB Cordarrelle Patterson and his backup had rushing TDs.
Cardinals 26-16 over the Panthers: It was all QB Kyler Murray with two passing TDs and a rushing TD, while QB Baker Mayfield had two interceptions with a fumble and only one TD pass. Carolina did pick off Murray for a return TD.
Packers 27-24 over the Patriots (OT): Mason Crosby kicked the game winning field goal in overtime. QB Aaron Rodgers had 2 TD’s, while QB Brian Hoyer had no passing TDs but left with a head injury. Rookie 4th round pick QB Bailey Zappe did his best to make this a close game in overtime as he one TD pass and New England picked off Rodgers and returned it for a TD.
Raiders 32-23 over the Broncos: It was all RB Josh Jacobs who had 144 yards rushing with two rushing TD’s and the defense recovered a fumble for a TD (their first defensive TD in three years). QB Russell Wilson did have two passing TDs with a rushing TD.
Chiefs 41-31 over the Buccaneers: QB Patrick Mahomes had three TD passes and so did QB Tom Brady. Kansas City also had two rushing TDs.
49ers 24-9 over the Rams: QB Matthew Stafford had no TD passes with a fumble and threw an interception that was returned for a TD. All of their offense came off field goals. QB Jimmy Garoppolo threw one TD pass and RB Jeff Wilson Jr had a rushing TD.
