He also won two World Series Championships with the Baltimore Orioles as a player and won the 1986 World Series Championship as the manager of the New York Mets. He also has won Manger of the Year twice and won two Bronze Medals.

Jorge Cantu is a former infielder who defeated team USA in the 2004 summer games in Athens for team Mexico and when he hit 29 home runs for the Marlins teamed to become the first set of four infielders from one team to hit at least 25 homers in a season.

Kodai Senga is a one time All-Star starting pitcher for the Mets who made three All-Star teams and won five Championships over in Japan. He also won a Gold Medal in 2020 Toyoko Olympics.

Charlie Neal was a former three time All-Star second basemen who won one Gold Glove Award and won one World Series Championship in 1959 with the Los Angels Dodgers.

Walt Dropo was a former one time All-Star first basemen who won Rookie of the Year and led the league in RBIs once. He also left UConn as the school’s all-time leading scorer in basketball and he was drafted by the Chicago Bears.
