NFL Recap Week 14 2022:

Rams 17-16 over the Raiders: QB Baker Mayfield threw a game winning 98 yard TD pass with ten seconds left to win the game for a team he just joined the other day. He is the first QB in the SB era to lead a 13+ point comeback win in his debut with two different teams. QB Derek Carr had zero TD passes with two interceptions and RB Josh Jacobs had their only TD.

Bills 20-12 over the Jets: 14 punts, a safety, and three fumbles, plus a QB playing with broken ribs who left the game three times before finally going to the hospital when the game ended. That QB was Mike White but the story again was it was all QB Josh Allen who had a passing and a rushing TD.

Bengals 23-10 over the Browns: QB Joe Burrow outplayed his divisional rival QB Deshaun Watson with two passing TDs to one. RB Semaje Perine scored another rushing TD for the Bengals.

Cowboys 27-23 over the Texans: Both Dallas RBs Tony Pollard(plus he caught a TD pass) and Eziekiell Elliot had rushing TDs in support of QB Dak Prescott who didn’t play well as he had two interceptions. Houston played two QBs and got only one TD pass from them combined.

Lions 34-23 over the Vikings: QB Jared Goff outplayed QB Kirk Cousins three TD passes to two.

Eagles 48-22 over the Giants: QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs, a rushing TD, RB Miles Sanders had two rushing TDs, and RB Boston Scott had one too. QB Daniel Jones did his best to keep up with the Eagles with a passing and a rushing TD but it wasn’t enough (his backup Tyord Taylor did throw a TD pass too.)

Ravens 16-14 over the Steelers:  No QB Lamar Jackson and QB Tyler Huntley who left the game with an injury forcing them to using a QB most people never heard of in Anthony Brown. Steelers also lost their QB Kenny Pickett to injury needing QB Mitchell Trubisky to play who threw three interceptions. Someone had to win this game and the Ravens just held on to their lead for the whole game. Steelers also missed a field goal.

Jaguars 36-22 over the Titans: It was all QB Trevor Lawrence who had three passing TDs and a rushing TD plus no turnovers.  QB Ryan Tannehill had two TD passes but had a fumble, an interception, and RB Derrick Henry had a rushing TD but with two fumbles.

Chiefs 34-28 over the Broncos: QB Patrick Mahomes did have three TD passes (two of those went to RB Jerrick McKinnon) but also threw three interceptions.  QB Russell Wilson also had three TD passes too but he left the game with an injury and threw an interception that was returned for a TD. His backup also threw an interception to end the game.

Panthers 30-24 over the Seahawks: The former Jets QB matchup saw the Panthers being up 20-14 entering half time and them holding on to pull off the upset. QB Sam Darnold had the only passing TD but had two rushing TDs from his stable of RBs. QB Geno Smith had three passing TDs but threw two interceptions.

49ers 35-7 over the Buccaneers: QB Brock Purdy in his 1st start ever had two passing TDs, a rushing TD, WR Debo Samuel had a rushing TD, and RB Christian McCaffrey had a rushing TD too(he also caught one of the passing TDs). QB Tom Brady had two interceptions.

Chargers 23-17 over the Dolphins: The Chargers went up 17-0 and never looked back as QB Justin Herbert outplayed his fellow draft mate Tua Tagovailia. They both had one TD pass but the Chargers offense outgained the Dolphins offense by almost two hundred yards.

Patriots 27-13 over the Cardinals: The Patriots defense forced a fumble, which was returned for a TD, sacked the QB six times and picked off QB Colt McCoy who came in to replace injured Kyler Murray. New England had two rushing TDs from their 3rd & 4th string RBs.

Bye Week: Falcons, Bears, Packers, Colts, Saints & Commanders.
