Vikings 36-28 over the Steelers: The Vikings were up 29-7 entering the 4th quarter and almost blew the game as QB Ben Roethlisberger threw two of his three TD passes and RB Najee Harris had a rushing TD but it was a failed comeback. QB Kirk Cousins did have two TD passes (one in the 4th quarter) but had two interceptions and Dalvin Cook had two rushing TDs.
Browns 24-22 over the Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson was carted off the field with an ankle injury and his backup only threw a TD pass late in the 4th quarter but also lost two fumbles with being returned for a TD. The 4th quarter was the big quarter for their failed comeback attempt as Latavius Murray added a rushing TD. QB Baker Mayfield had two TD passes for Cleveland.
Falcons 29-21 over the Panthers: QB Cam Newton and his backup had three fumbles and two interceptions combined with one of those interceptions returned for a TD. QB Matt Ryan had a TD pass and RB Cordarrelle Patterson had a rushing TD.
Saints 30-9 over the Jets: RB Alvin Kamara returned from injury to rush for 120 yards with a rushing TD and QB Taysom Hill had two rushing TDs. The Jets had six punts and three field goals.
Chiefs 48-7 over the Raiders: QB Patrick Mahomes had two TD passes (one to WR Josh Gordon), RB Clyde Edwards Helaire had two rushing TDs and RB Derrick Gore had a rushing TD. QB Derek Carr had one of his team’s four fumbles(one was recovered for a TD) and he had one interception.
Seahawks 33-13 over the Texans: QB Russell Wilson had two TD passes and third string RB Rashaad Penny had two rushing TD. The only time the Texans led was when they scored a TD to start the game.
Titans 20-0 over the Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes and four interceptions. That meant QB Ryan Tannehill didn’t have to do much as he only had a rushing TD and RB D’Onta Freeman had a rushing TD.
Cowboys 27-20 over Washington: Dallas went up big 24-0 entering halftime and never looked back. QB Tyler Heinicke had one of his team’s three fumbles with his being returned for a TD and he threw an interception. QB Dak Prescott didn’t help his team out with only throwing one TD pass because he threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD.
Chargers 37-21 over the Giants: QB Justin Herbert had three TD passes and RB Austin Ekeler had a rushing TD to help but the Chargers up big early and never looked back. QB Mike Glennon overcame a fumble and an interception to do his best in a comeback attempt as he finished with two passing TDs and a rushing TD but it wasn’t enough.
Broncos 38-10 over the Lions: QB Teddy Bridgewater threw two TD passes, RB Melvin Gordon had two rushing TDs, and RB Javonte Williams also had a rushing TD plus caught one of those TD passes which put the game out of reach early and throughout. QB Jared Goff threw one TD pass, the only TD for Detroit.
49ers 26-23 over the Bengals (OT): After the Bengals hit a field goal in overtime QB Jimmy Garoppolo threw a game winning TD his second of the game. QB Joe Burrow started a comeback in the 4th quarter to force overtime after being down 20-6 by throwing two TD passes.
Buccaneers 33-27 over the Bills(OT): QB Tom Brady threw the game winning TD pass in overtime his second passing TD of the game, he also had a rushing TD, and RB Leonard Fournette had a rushing TD. For Buffalo it was all QB Josh Allen who had two passing TDs with a rushing TD but it wasn’t enough.
Packers 45-30 over the Bears: QB Aaron Rodgers threw four TD passes and RB Aaron Jones had a rushing TD plus one of those TD passes. QB Justin Fields did his best in his return from injury with two TD passes but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD and had a fumble. WR Jakeem Grant had a 97 yard punt return for Chicago.
Rams 30-23 over the Cardinals: QB Matthew Stafford threw three TD passes while QB Kyler Murray had zero TD passes with two interceptions. RB James Connor had two rushing TDs for Arizona.
