NFL Recap Week 13 2019:

Bears 24-20 over the Lions: The Bears actually scored a TD in the 1stquarter but their defense let a 3rd string rookie QB David Blough who was making his debut score two straight TDs. Things cooled off for the Lions and then the Bears offense led by Trubisky added 2 more TD’s in the 2ndhalf, followed with the defense almost twice picking off the Lions QB to seal the game.
Bills 26-15 over the Cowboys: The Bills defense held Dallas to only 1 TD until the very end when Dallas had a garbage time TD. Their defense had four sacks, one interception and forced three fumbles. Also, they were able to hold RB Ezekiel Elliot to under 75 yards rushing and WR Amari Cooper to under 90 yards receiving. QB Josh Allen had both a rushing and passing TD, while WR John Brown even threw a TD pass.

Saints 26-18 over the Falcons: It was the QB Taysom Hill show with a rushing TD, a receiving TD, and he blocked a punt on special teams. Despite 2 TD passes from QB Matt Ryan it was washed away because the Saints’ defense picked him off twice, forced two fumbles and sacked him nine times. The Falcons’ kicker also missed a field goal and an extra point.

Ravens 20-17 over the 49ers: QB Jimmy Garoppolo had 1 passing TD while one of his RBs added a rushing TD, and QB Lamar Jackson played like the MVP he has been all season with both a passing TD and rushing TD(101 yards rushing). The difference in the game was of course the Ravens kicker Justin Tucker hitting a game winning field goal but also because the 49ers kicker Robbie Gould missed a field goal earlier in the game.

Washington 29-21 over the Panthers: Washington’s defense sacked QB Kyle Allen seven times, picked him off once and forced him to fumble twice with one to end the game. Allen did have a rushing TD and two passing TDs so Washington’s offense had to play their part. QB Dwayne Haskins did nothing, it was his RBS as Adrian Peterson had a rushing TD and Derrius Guice had 2 rushing TDs.

Bengals 22-6 over the Jets: In QB Andy Dalton’s return from the bench he threw 1 TD pass and his RB Joe Mixon added the other TD to help get the Bengals first win of the season. While the opposing QB Sam Darnold had 0 TD passes and got sacked in the end zone for a safety as all they could muster was two field goals.

Titans 31-17 over the Colts: QB Ryan Tannehill outplayed QB Jacoby Brissett with 2 TD passes and no interceptions, while Brissett only had 1 TD pass but with two interceptions. Also, kicker Adam Vinatieri missed three field goals one being blocked and returned for a TD.

Buccaneers 28-11 over the Jaguars: RB Peyton Barber had two rushing TDs and Tampa Bay’s defense picked off QB Nick Foles once, forced two fumbles with one being returned for a TD. Their defense also forced QB Gardner Minshew to fumble and picked him off once.

Dolphins 37-31 over the Eagles: The Eagles defense got destroyed by the QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the lowly Dolphins to essentially kill their season. Fitzpatrick had 3 TD passes, and one of his RBs added a rushing TD, and his punter threw a TD pass to the kicker. QB Carson Wentz did bounce back nicely from last week’s bad game by having 3 TD passes but it was not enough due to his defense and his kicker missing a field goal too.

Packers 31-13 over the Giants: QB Aaron Rodgers did it all by himself with 4 TD passes and no turnovers while his opposing QB Daniel Jones had three interceptions and a fumble.

Steelers 20-13 over the Browns: With the 4th QB the Steelers have had this season on their roster Devlin Hodges had 1 TD pass and 3rdsting RB Benny Snell Jr added a rushing TD. Their defense picked off QB Baker Mayfield once and forced him to fumble once while sacking him five times.

Rams 34-7 over the Cardinals: The Rams defense sacked QB Kyler Murray six times, and picked him off once, which was returned for a TD. He was held to only 1 TD which came in the 4th quarter. The Rams offense woke up out of their slump as QB Jared Goff had 2 TD passes and RB Todd Gurley added a rushing TD.

Broncos 23-20 over the Chargers: The Chargers defense put QB Phillip Rivers in a hole early and he did his best to overcome it with multiple 4th quarter drives down the field. It got his team 10 points with him throwing another TD pass, his 2nd of the day. One of those drives came up empty as his kicker missed a field goal and eventually Denver hit the game winning field goal in the end.
Chiefs 40-9 over the Raiders: Patrick Mahomes had one passing TD and a rushing TD, plus two of his RBS added rushing TDs. The Chiefs defense picked off QB Derek Carr twice with one being returned for a TD, plus they blocked an extra point which was also returned but this time for two points.

Texans 28-22 over the Patriots: QB Tom Brady did his best to overcome an early hole including an interception by throwing 3 TD passes in the 2nd half, but it wasn’t enough to overcome QB Deshaun Watson’s day. Watson had 3 TD passes and caught a TD pass thrown to him by WR DeAndre Hopkins.

Seahawks 37-30 over the Vikings: QB Russell Wilson had 2 TD passes and both his RBS added rushing TDs. Plus the defense picked off QB Kirk Cousins once and forced 3 total fumbles. Cousins is now 0-8 on Monday night football.
