NFL Divisional Round Recap 2018-2019:

Chiefs 31-13 over the Colts: It was all Chiefs on the ground early as they were up 24-7 after one half. RB Damien Williams led the pack with 129 yards rushing with one of the 4 rushing TDs. The other rushing TDs were by QB Patrick Mahomes, WR Tyreek Hill, and RB Darrel Williams. Their defense held the Colts to one offensive TD by QB Andrew Luck to WR TY Hilton. They also sacked Luck three times and forced him to fumble the ball away. Future Hall of Fame Kicker Adam Vinatieri missed a field goal and an extra point. The Colts scored their other TD off a blocked punt which was returned for a TD.

Rams 30-22 over the Cowboys: Despite an early lead for Dallas they trailed for the rest of the night as the Rams went on 30-15 run the rest of the night. Behind both RBS they scored three rushing TDs as CJ Anderson had 2 rushing with 123 yards and Todd Gurley had a rushing TD with 115 yards. QB Dak Prescott did all he could with a passing TD and a rushing TD, plus RB Ezekiel Elliot had a rushing TD, it was all on the defense to hold a lead. WR Amari Cooper caught that TD pass plus caught a two point conversion. Once the Rams took the lead they chewed up the clock to hold on to the lead by controlling time of possession by 13 minutes.

Patriots 41-28 over the Chargers: It was all Patriots early going up 35-7 at half time. The star of the game was RB Sony Michel with 129 yards with 3 rushing TDs, while RB Rex Burkhead added a rushing TD and QB Tom Brady threw 1 TD pass. QB Phillip Rivers did all he could with 3 TD passes and RB Melvin Gordon had a rushing TD but it was far too big of deficit for them to overcome.

Saints 20-14 over the Eagles: Things didn’t start well for the Saints as QB Drew Brees threw an interception on the 1st play of the game and Eagles scored two straight TDs thrown by QB Nick Foles. Things got better for the Saints as Brees settled in with 2 TD passes with one going to WR Michael Thomas who had 171 yards receiving. While things got worse for the Eagles as Foles threw an interception with a minute left to seal the game for the Saints who added two field goals on top of those TDs they got earlier.
