Bills 42-17 over the Dolphins: It was all Rookie QB Josh Allen! He had 3 passing TDs (2 went to WR Zay Jones) and 2 rushing TDs. Plus, RB LeSean McCoy added a rushing TD. While QB Ryan Tannehill had two interceptions and a fumble but he caught a TD pass thrown by WR Kenny Stills. The other TD for Miami was an interception TD the only mistake by Allen all day.
Lions 31-0 over the Packers: QB Aaron Rodgers left the game with a concussion and QB DeShone Kizer came in and it was game over with an interception and no offense. Which made it all about Detroit as QB Matthew Stafford had 2 TD passes, the kicker Matt Prater had a fake field goal TD pass, and RB Zach Zenner had a rushing TD.
Texans 20-3 over the Jaguars: It was typical offense for Jacksonville, no TDs with an interception and two combined fumbles. Doesn’t matter if its Blake Bortles or Cody Kessler they both are inept. The Texans didn’t have to do much on offense as DeShaun Watson had a rushing TD with no passing TDs and RB Lamar Miller added another rushing TD.
Patriots 38-3 over the Jets: It was all QB Tom Brady who had 4 TD passes, while QB Sam Darnold and his team had three fumbles with one being returned for a TD.
Panthers 33-14 over the Saints: Despite using a 3rd and 4th string QB, Carolina won because the Saints rested Drew Brees and Alvin Kamara. That 3rd string QB Kyle Allen had 2 TD passes with a passing TD, and RB Cameron Artis-Payne had a rushing TD. QB Teddy Bridgewater did have a TD pass but it was cancelled out by an interception. Jack of trades QB Taysom Hill did have a rushing TD as well.
Cowboys 36-35 over the Giants: QB Dak Prescott had 4 TD passes with 3 going to TE Blake Jarwin and backup Rod Smith had a rushing TD. While QB Eli Manning had 2 TD passes and both RBs Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gellman had rushing TDs. The difference was the interception and fumble by Manning costing the Giants chances to score. Barkley has the most receptions by rookie RB in NFL history.
Falcons 34-32 over the Buccaneers: This divisional high scoring game came down to a game winning field goal by Atlanta. QB Jameis Winston had 4 TD passes but had an interception while QB Matt Ryan had 2 TD passes with an interception as well but led his team from down 17-7 late. WR Mohammed Sanu had a TD pass which Ryan caught while RB Tevin Coleman had a rushing TD. WR Julio Jones finished 1 TD with 138 yards receiving while WRS Mike Evans and Chris Godwin caught 2 TD passes each with 106 and 114 yards receiving respectively.
Ravens 26-24 over the Browns: Despite throwing more TDs 3, QB Baker Mayfield had a bad game with three interceptions while QB Lamar Jackson had 0 TD passes with 2 fumbles but had 2 rushing TDs. Cleveland missed a crucial field goal which prove to be the difference.
Chiefs 35-3 over the Raiders: It was all Chiefs as QB Patrick Mahomes had 2 TD passes and RB Damien Williams had a rushing TD. While for Oakland QB Derek Carr had two interceptions and two fumbles.
Bears 24-10 over the Vikings: It was a typical win for the Bears as their defense and their rushing attack had four sacks and held the Vikings to only 10 points. RB Jordan Howard had 2 rushing TDs with 109 yards rushing, and RB Tarik Cohen had another rushing TD.
Steelers 16-13 over the Bengals: This a typical AFC North battle with low scoring and defense. The Steelers forced two fumbles and sacked the QB four times. Without WR Antonio Brown they only could muster one TD from QB Ben Roethlisberger to WR Juju Smith-Schuster but he threw a interception that was returned for a TD.
Eagles 24-0 over Washington: Despite an interception it was all QB Nick Foles who had 2 TD passes. 3rd string QB Nate Sudfeld even had a TD pass with WR Nelson Agholor catching 2 TD passes. While QB Josh Johnson had an interception and a fumble as Washington could only muster 91 passing yards and 10 rushing yards.
Chargers 23-9 over the Broncos: QB Case Keenum had only 1 TD pass with an interception, two fumbles and his team had two more fumbles plus they missed a two point conversion. QB Phillip Rivers didn’t have such a better game with his two interceptions and his team having three fumbles. Rivers did have a TD pass and RB Austin Ekeler had a rushing TD, a fumble recovery TD, plus the two points they took on the Broncos failed two point conversion.
Rams 48-32 over the 49ers: QB Nick Mullens did his best to keep up with the Rams and QB Jared Goff with 3 TD passes, but had three interceptions plus his RB Alfred Morris had a rushing TD. TE George Kittle had one of those TD passes for 149 receiving yards. Goff had 4 TD passes with two each going to WRs Brandon Cooks and Josh Reynolds. WR Robert Woods adding a rushing TD and RB CJ Anderson had 132 yards rushing, with another rushing TD in place of RB Todd Gurley. Plus LB Cory Littleton had an interception TD. Kittle has the most reception yards in a single season by a TE in NFL history.
Seahawks 27-24 over the Cardinals: QB Josh Rosen did have a TD pass to WR Larry Fitzgerald with no interceptions but he had two costly fumbles, but they blocked a punt which was returned for a TD. QB Russell Wilson didn’t have a great game with 1 TD pass and an interception as it was his running game that won the game. RB Chris Carson had 122 yards rushing with a rushing TD and RB Mike Davis had one too but Seattle won with a game winning field goal.
Colts 33-17 over the Titans: It was all about QB Andrew Luck who despite an interception that was returned for a TD had a 3 TD game and his RB Marlon Mack had a rushing TD. The Titans with their season on the line relied on QB Blaine Gabbert to win, he did have a TD but had two interceptions, which is not going to cut it VS the Luck.
