NFL Recap Week 9 2023:

Steelers 20-16 over the Titans: QB Kenny Pickett threw the go ahead winning TD to WR Dionte Johnson which was untimely followed up by a turnover on downs and an interception by the Titans. QB Will Levis fell back down to earth having no TDs with that interception.

Chiefs 21-14 over the Dolphins: QB Patrick Mahomes had two passing TDs and their defense forced WR Tyreek Hill to fumble which they returned for a TD which put them up 21-0 at halftime. That was too much for QB Tua Tagovailoa and his offense to overcome in Germany.

Vikings 31-28 over the Falcons: QB Josh Dobbs who was just traded to Minnesota and wasn’t even starting threw the game winning TD pass. Dobbs had two passing TDs/ a rushing TD in place of rookie QB Jaren Hall who left the game with a concussion. QB Taylor Heincke had a passing TD but an interception. This game was only close because kicker Younghoe Koo accounted for 14 of their points.

Ravens 37-3 over the Seahawks: The Ravens ran all over the Seattle defense as RB Gus Edwards had two rushing TDs and RB Keaton Mitchell had 138 yards rushing with a rushing TD, plus WR Odell Beckham Jr .caught a TD pass on his birthday. QB Geno Smith had no TD passes with an interception and a fumble.

Browns 27-0 over the Cardinals: QB Deshaun Watson in his return from injury had two passing TDs and RB Kareem Hunt had a rushing TD. The Browns defense shut out the Cardinals and rookie QB Clayton Tune by intercepting him twice/forcing him to fumble.

Packers 20-3 over the Rams: QB Jordan Love had one passing TD and RB Aaron Jones had one rushing TD. Veteran backup QB Brett Rypien had two fumbles with an interception plus no TD pass and they missed a field goal.

Texans 38-37 over the Buccaneers: Rookie QB CJ Stroud had five passing TDs with one being the game winning TD pass. QB Baker Mayfield had two passing TDs and RB Rachaad White had two rushing TDs, but they had two fumbles with one to end the game.

Commanders 20-17 over the Patriots: QB Mac Jones threw an interception to end the game but had a TD pass just like QB Sam Howell.

Saints 24-17 over the Bears: QB Derek Carr had two passing TDs and QB/TE Taysom Hill had a passing TD. Rookie QB Tyson Bagent had three interceptions, one of his team’s fumbles and their kicker missed a field goal.

Colts 27-13 over the Panthers: Once the Colts went up 20-3 at halftime it was over as QB Gardner Minshew had a passing TD and the Colts defense picked off rookie QB CJ Stroud three times with two being returned for TDs by CB Kenny Moore.

Raiders 30-6 over the Giants: Even with QB Daniel Jones back from injury and the Raiders firing their HC Josh McDaniels/OC Mike Lombardi/their GM/benching, QB Jimmy Garoppolo could only score six points. Las Vegas RB Josh Jacobs ran all over the Giants defense for rushing TDs and WR Jakobi Meyers had one rushing TD.

Eagles 28-23 over the Cowboys: The Cowboys had two fumbles with one to end the game as it ruined the three passing TD day by QB Dak Prescott. QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs with a rushing TD and RB Kenneth Gainwell had a rushing TD too.

Bengals 24-18 over the Bills: QB Josh Allen again had to do it all by himself with a passing and a rushing TD with an interception and his team had a fumble. QB Joe Burrow had two passing TDs and RB Joe Mixon had a rushing TD for the Bengals.

Chargers 27-6 over the Jets: RB Austin Ekeler had two rushing TDs and the Chargers got an 87 yard punt return TD. QB Zach Wilson had three of his team’s four fumbles with no TD passes for New York.
