NFL Recap Week 9 2022:

Eagles 29-17 over the Texans: QB Jalen Hurts had two TD passes and both of his RBs had rushing TDs, while QB Davis Mills did have two passing TDs but threw two interceptions.

Chargers 20-17 over the Falcons: Atlanta was up 10-0 early but would lose that lead by getting outscored 20-7 the rest of the game as their kicker missed a crucial field goal and the Chargers hit the game winning field goal. It was all RB Austin Ekeler who had a rushing TD and caught the only passing TD of the game. For Atlanta RB Cordarrelle Patterson came back from injury and had both of their TDs.

Dolphins 35-32 over the Bears: In spite of the career day by QB Justin Fields who had a record breaking 178 yards rushing and a rushing TD, and also threw three TD passes. QB Tua Tagovaiola had three passing TDs as well, plus Miami blocked a punt and returned it for a TD.

Bengals 42-21 over the Panthers: It was the RB Joe Mixon show as he had 153 yards rushing with four rushing TDs, caught QB Joe Burrow’s one passing TD, and Burrow had a rushing TD. QB PJ Walker threw two interceptions and was replaced by QB Baker Mayfield who had two passing TDs to salvage the game.

Lions 15-9 over the Packers: In this ugly divisional game the Packers had two fumbles and QB Aaron Rodgers had three interceptions. QB Jared Goff did throw an interception but threw two passing TDs.

Jaguars 27-20 over the Raiders: Las Vegas has now lost three games with a lead of at least 17 points this season which is tied for the record for most such losses by any team in a single season in NFL history. RB Travis Etienne ran all over the other team with two rushing TDs, and QB Trevor Lawrence had one passing TD. QB Derek Carr did have two passing TDs both to WR Devante Adams.

Patriots 26-3 over the Colts: The Patriots defense sacked QB Sam Ehlinger nine times, intercepted him once which was returned for a TD and blocked a punt/Colts missed a field goal. QB Mac Jones only needed to throw one TD pass

Jets 20-17 over the Bills: The Jets hit the go ahead field goal late and the Bills turned the ball over on downs. QB Josh Allen had no passing TDs but had two rushing TDs and QB Zach Wilson had one passing TD.

Vikings 20-17 over the Commanders: QB Kirk Cousins beat his former team as they were down 17-7 in the 4th quarter with a comeback for two total TD passes for the game, and they kicked the game winning field goal.

Seahawks 31-21 over the Cardinals: QB Geno Smith kept it going with two passing TDs and rookie RB Kenneth Walker had two rushing TDs as well. QB Kyler Murray did have two passing TDs but with two fumbles, and the other Arizona TD was them picking off Smith for a TD and returning it.

Buccaneers 16-13 over the Rams: QB Tom Brady led his team down the field for 60 yards in 35 seconds to throw a game winning TD(now has the most game winning drives in NFL history since 1970) as the rest of their points came from their kicker. QB Matthew Stafford threw one TD pass for Los Angeles. The Rams did block a field goal.

Chiefs 20-17 over the Titans(OT): The Chiefs kicked the go ahead field goal in overtime as Tennessee couldn’t convert with their possession. It was all RB Derrick Henry for the Titans early as he had 115 yards rushing with two rushing TDs, but it was all QB Patrick Mahomes later on for the Chiefs. 

Ravens 27-13 over the Saints: Third string RB Kenyan Drake had 109 total yards with two rushing TDs and QB Lamar Jackson had one TD pass. QB Andy Dalton threw one TD pass for the Saints but threw an interception.
