NFL Recap Week 15 2021:

Chiefs 34-28 over the Chargers (OT): QB Patrick Mahomes threw the game winning TD Pass to TE Travis Kelce(who also scored the game tying TD) to end the game his third TD pass of the game. QB Justin Herbert threw two TD passes with a rushing TD and RB Austin Ekeler had a rushing TD which helped them take the lead in the 4th quarter.   

Colts 27-17 over the Patriots: The Colts were up 20-0 entering the 4th quarter and held despite a 17 point 4th quarter by New England. The Colts’ defense forced two fumbles, picked off QB Mac Jones twice and blocked a punt which was returned for a TD. It was the RB Jonathan Taylor show again as he had 170 yards rushing with a rushing TD.

Cowboys 21-6 over the Giants: QB Mike Glennon had three interceptions with no TD passes and RB Saquon Barkley had a fumble. Dallas’ offense didn’t have to do too much as QB Dak Prescott threw one TD pass and RB Ezekiel Elliot had one rushing TD.

Texans 30-16 over the Jaguars: Rookie 3rd round pick QB David Mills threw two TD passes and his team had a 98 yard kick return TD. While rookie and first overall pick in the draft QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes, and their only TD came from RB James Robinson having a rushing TD.

Steelers 19-13 over the Titans: Both QB’s had zero TD passes with a rushing TD but the difference was QB Ryan Tannehill who had an interception and two of his team’s five fumbles. The rest of the scoring was on field goals.

Dolphins 31-24 over the Jets: QB Zach Wilson did not have a passing TD, had a fumble but had a rushing TD, while QB Tua Tagovailoa did have two passing TDs but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. The difference was 4th string RB Duke Johnson having two rushing TDs.

Lions 30-12 over the Cardinals: QB Jared Goff threw three TD passes compared to QB Kyler Murray who had only one TD pass with an interception and a fumble.

Bills 31-14 over the Panthers: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs and RB Devin Singletary had a rushing TD. QB Cam Newton did have a rushing and passing TD but had an interception with two fumbles.

49ers 31-13 over the Falcons: The 49ers had three rushing TDs one by RB Jeff Wilson, one by WR Deebo Samuel and FB Kyle Juszcyzk, plus QB Jimmy Garoppolo had a passing TD. Atlanta could only muster up one TD.

Bengals 15-10 over the Broncos: QB Teddy Bridgewater was injured and carted off the field so backup QB Drew Lock did his best with a TD pass, but he also had a fumble and their kicker missed a field goal. QB Joe Burrow had one TD pass and their kicker made all of their field goals.

Packers 31-30 over the Ravens: Tip your cap to backup QB Tyler Huntley who was keeping up with QB Aaron Rodgers in the first half with two TD passes and bailed his defense out in the second half on his own with two rushing TDs, and almost won but failed to convert on a two point conversion. QB Aaron Rodgers had three TD passes and AJ Dillon had a rushing TD.

Saints 9-0 over the Buccaneers: There were 17 punts, two fumbles and a missed field goal between the two teams. QB Tom Brady had an interception, his kicker missed a field goal and they lost Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette to injury, causing them not to just lose the battle but the war too. Saints kicker Brett Maher was the MVP of the game.

Raiders 16-14 over the Browns: The Raiders were up 10-0 entering halftime but had to kick a game winning field goal to get the win. QB Nick Mullens who was just signed off the street for the Browns did throw one TD pass and RB Nick Chubb had a rushing TD in the second half but it wasn’t enough, but what hurt Cleveland was missing a field goal.
Vikings 17-9 over the Bears: The Bears had four fumbles and a missed field goal plus they only got a TD when the game was essentially over. QB Kirk Cousins had two TD passes for Minnesota. 

Eagles 27-17 over Washington: In spite of a Covid19 outbreak Washington had a 10 point lead early but that was the last time they would lead in this game. It was all Jalen Hurts as he had one passing TD and two rushing TDs.

Rams 20-10 over the Seahawks: QB Matthew Stafford had two passing TDs both to WR Cooper Kupp while QB Russell Wilson had zero TD passes with an interception.
