Rams 26-17 over the Seahawks: Seattle just didn’t lose this divisional game but they lost QB Russell Wilson to a dislocated finger and were already down with their starting RB Chris Carson. They also missed a field goal to add to the multiple interceptions thrown one by Wilson and by his backup Geno Smith. QB Matthew Stafford had one passing TD and both of his RBs each had one rushing TD.
Eagles 21-18 over the Panthers: The Panthers blew a 15-6 lead entering halftime to be outscored the rest of the way as QB Jalen Hurts had two rushing TDs. This after Jalen Hurts had an interception, one of his team’s two fumbles and that fumble was a safety. QB Sam Darnold had three interceptions with one in the 4th quarter plus they had a punt blocked.
Packers 25-22 over the Bengals (OT): Both QBs Aaron Rodgers and Joe Burrow had two passing TDs, while Rodgers had one interception and Burrow had two. Both kickers missed multiple field goals while Green Bay’s kicker also missed an extra point but eventually the Packers hit the game winning field goal in overtime.
Buccaneers 45-17 over the Dolphins: QB Tom Brady had five TD passes and RB Leonard Fournette had one rushing TD. QB Jacoby Brissett had two TD passes but had a fumble and an interception.
Patriots 25-22 over the Texans: The Patriots were down 15-9 entering half time where they had a fumble and a missed extra point but came out better in the second half with another TD, this one thrown by QB Mac Jones. The letdown was rookie 3rd round pick QB David Mills had three TD passes and they still lost. They missed a field goal and two extra points which didn’t help.
Saints 33-22 over Washington: QB Jameis Winston had four TD passes and RB Alvin Kamara had a rushing TD, plus he caught one of those four TD passes. QB Tyler Heinicke had no passing TDs with two interceptions and RB Antonio Gibson had two rushing TDs. It was a lot closer because the Saints missed three extra points and Winston had both a fumble and an interception.
Vikings 19-17 over the Lions: There were twelve field goals combined, seven punts, two fumbles, two interceptions, one missed field goal and one turnover on downs. Someone had to win this game as the Vikings hit the game winning field goal as time expired.
Falcons 27-20 over the Jets: The Falcons went up 20-3 at halftime and didn’t look back as QB Matt Ryan had two passing TDs and RB Mike Davis had a rushing TD. QB Zach Wilson had no TD passes with an interception, their kicker missed an extra point and it was only close because two RBS had a rushing TD each.
Titans 37-19 over the Jaguars: It was the RB Derrick Henry show again with 130 yards rushing and three rushing TDs plus QB Ryan Tannehill had one TD pass. QB Trevor Lawrence did have a passing and rushing TD for Jacksonville but threw an interception and his team had a fumble that was returned for a TD, plus missed a field goal and an extra point.
Steelers 27-19 over the Broncos: The Steelers were up 17-6 at halftime and never looked back as QB Ben Roethlisberger looked better with two passing TDs, plus his RB Najee Harris had a rushing TD. QB Teddy Bridgewater did his best in return from injury with two TD passes but threw a crucial interception towards the end of the game to seal it.
Bears 20-9 over the Raiders: There were nine punts, two turnovers on downs, and QB Derek Carr had no passing TDs while QB Justin Fields had one. Both teams had rushing TDs but for the Raiders that was their only TD, and they missed a two point conversion attempt.
Chargers 47-42 over the Browns: QB Justin Herbert had four TD passes plus a rushing TD, and his RB Austin Ekeler had two rushing TDs. Four of the Chargers TDs came in the 4th quarter to take the lead over the Browns where QB Baker Mayfield had two TDs, RB Kareem Hunt had two rushing TDs, and RB Nick Chubb also had a rushing TD in the game.
Cardinals 17-10 over the 49ers: Rookie QB Trey Lance had no TDs with an interception while QB Kyler Murray had one TD pass with no interceptions.
Cowboys 44-20 over the Giants: QB Dak Prescott had three TD passes and RB Ezekiel Elliot had a rushing TD. While the Giants lost both their starting RB Saquon Barkley and starting QB Daniel Jones early. QB Mike Glennon did have one passing TD but threw two interceptions, one that was returned for a TD. Backup RB Devontae Booker had a rushing TD and caught that Glennon pass for both Giants TDs.
Bills 38-20 over the Chiefs: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs and one rushing TD while QB Patrick Mahomes had two TD passes but with one of his team’s two fumbles and two interceptions.
Ravens 31-25 over the Colts (OT): The Colts were up 22-9 entering the fourth quarter but blew the lead and lost it in overtime on a game winning TD pass from QB Lamar Jackson to WR Marquis Brown. Jackson had four passing TDs while QB Carson Wentz had two passing TDs. The Colts kicker missed two field goals and an extra point.
