NFL Recap Week 17 2020:

Bills 56-26 over the Dolphins: QB Josh Allen had three TD passes and his backup QB Matt Barkley had a TD pass, plus their 3rd string RB Antonio Williams had two rushing TDs. WR Isaiah McKenzie had a punt return TD for the Bills to go with catching two of Allen’s TD passes. While QB Tua Tugovailoa had three interceptions with one being returned for a TD and his team had two fumbles.

Ravens 38-3 over the Bengals: QB Lamar Jackson had three TD passes and RB JK Dobbins had two rushing TDs. QB Brandon Allen had 0 TD passes with two interceptions.

Browns 24-22 over the Steelers: The Steelers decided to rest their starters for the playoffs and still almost won.  QB Mason Rudolph had two passing TDs in the 4th quarter to try to attempt a comeback that came up short. QB Baker Mayfield had one passing TD and RB Nick Chubb had a rushing TD, plus WR Jarvis Landry had a rushing TD.

Vikings 37-35 over the Lions: Both QB’s (Kirk Cousins & Matthew Stafford) had three TD passes and both teams had two rushing TDs (Cousins had one of them). WR Marvin Jones caught two of those Lions TDs and RB Alexander Mattison had both a rushing TD and receiving TD for Minnesota. Both teams missed extra points and Vikings missed a field goal.

Patriots 28-14 over the Jets: QB Cam Newton had three passing TDs and caught a TD pass from his WR Jakobi Meyers. While QB Sam Darnold had one TD pass but threw two interceptions.

Giants 23-19 over the Cowboys: QB Daniel Jones had two TD passes and WR Sterling Shepard had a rushing TD plus he caught one of those TD passes. While QB Andy Dalton had no TD passes with an interception. RB Ezekiel Elliot had their only TD and their kicker Greg Zuerlein accounted for 16 of their points.

Buccaneers 44-27 over the Falcons: QB Tom Brady had four TD passes and RB Ronald Jones had a rushing TD. QB Matt Ryan had two TD passes with a rushing TD but had two of his team’s four fumbles with one being returned for a TD.

Saints 33-7 over the Panthers: QB Drew Brees had three TD passes and without any RB due to Covid protocols QB Taysom Hill had a rushing TD. While both QBs for Carolina had five interceptions and two fumbles.

Packers 35-16 over the Bears: QB Aaron Rodgers had four TD passes and RB Aaron Jones had a rushing TD. While QB Mitchell Trubisky had 0 TD passes with an interception and the team had two fumbles. RB David Montgomery had the only the TD for them.

Chargers 38-21 over the Chiefs: QB Justin Herbert had three passing TDs with a rushing TD and RB Kalen Ballage had a rushing TD. In place of QB Patrick Mahomes who was resting for the playoffs QB Chad Henne had two passing TDs, and 3rd string Darwin Thompson had a rushing TD and caught one of those TD passes.

Colts 28-14 over the Jaguars: Colts RB Jonathan Taylor had two rushing TDs with 253 yards rushing, and QB Phillip Rivers threw a TD pass. QB Mike Glennon had two passing TDs for Jacksonville.

Rams 18-7 over the Cardinals: The Rams intercepted the Cardinals backup QB once where it was returned for a TD. The Cardinals forced their own safety in the end zone with holding and the Rams blocked a field goal. The Rams were starting their own backup QB who had an interception and no TDs.

Seahawks 26-23 over the 49ers: QB Russell Wilson had two TD passes and 4th string RB Alex Collins had a rushing TD. While RB Jeff Wilson had a rushing TD and caught the only TD pass for the 49ers.

Titans 41-38 over the Texans: Both QB’s scored a 4th quarter TD pass, the Texans hit a game tying field goal, and then the Titans hit the game winning field goal as time was expiring. QB Ryan Tannehill had one passing TDs but two rushing TDs, and RB Derrick Henry had two rushing TDs with 250 yards rushing. QB Deshaun Watson had three passing TDs and an interception, and RB David Johnson had a rushing TD.

Raiders 32-30 over the Broncos: RB Josh Jacobs scored a late 4th quarter rushing TD (his second rushing TD) and they completed a two-point conversion to seal the comeback. QB Derek Carr had two TD passes but had two interceptions. Drew Lock two TD passes and RB Melvin Gordon had a rushing TD, but if Denver didn’t miss two field goals they might have won this game.

Washington 20-14 over the Eagles: QB Alex Smith had two passing TDs while QB Jalen Hurts had 0 TD passes but had two rushing TDs. Both Eagles QBs had interceptions and one had a fumble.
