Seahawks 28-21 over the Cardinals: In a divisional game where both QBs had two TD passes (Russell Wilson & Kyler Murray) and both teams had a rushing TD it came down to a crucial safety in the 4th quarter. Arizona was called for holding in the end zone which becomes a safety and Arizona had no field goals while Seattle made all three.
Titans 30-24 over the Ravens (OT): The Ravens made a field goal to tie the game at the end but then the RB Derrick Henry scored the game winning TD in over time. QB Ryan Tannehill had two TD passes while QB Lamar Jackson had one.
Panthers 20-0 over the Lions: Former XFL QB PJ Walker started in place of injured QB Teddy Bridgewater and led his team to victory despite two interceptions. He had one TD pass and RB Mike Davis added a rushing TD. Detroit fumbled the ball once and missed their only field goal.
Browns 22-17 over the Eagles: The Browns defense picked off QB Carson Wentz twice with one being returned for a TD; sacked Wentz five times, forced two fumbles, and sacked Wentz in the end zone for a safety. Cleveland though missed a field goal and QB Baker Mayfield had two fumbles with no TD passes.
Texans 27-20 over the Patriots: QB Deshaun Watson had two passing TDs and one rushing TD compared to QB Cam Newton having only one TD pass.
Steelers 27-3 over the Jaguars: QB Ben Roethlisberger had two TD passes and RB Benny Sell added a rushing TD. Rookie QB Jake Luton had four interceptions, a fumble and no TD passes for Jacksonville.
Saints 24-9 over the Falcons: QB Taysom Hill had two rushing TDs in place of the injured QB Drew Brees and RB Alvin Kamara added a rushing TD. The Saints defense picked off QB Matt Ryan twice and held him to 0 TD passes and sacked him eight times.
Washington 20-9 over the Bengals: Rookie QB Joe Burrows threw one TD pass in the first half but then was carted off with a knee injury in the 3rd quarter, which will officially end his season. Plus their kicker missed one extra point and two field goals. QB Alex Smith had one TD pass and RB Antonio Gibson had a rushing TD for Washington.
Chargers 34-28 over the Jets: The Chargers had a huge lead of 24-6 over the Jets heading into half time and New York did their best to come back but it was too much of a deficit. QB Justin Herbert had three passing TDs for Los Angeles, QB Joe Flacco had two TD passes but was picked off once which was returned for a TD, and both Jets RBs had rushing TDs. The Jets missed two extra points as well.
Broncos 20-13 over the Dolphins: RB Melvin Gordon had two rushing TDs for Denver while QB Drew Lock had no TD passes. Miami benched QB Tug Tagovailoa in the 4th quarter despite a TD pass, but QB Ryan Fitzpatrick wasn’t that much better as he had an interception.
Cowboys 31-28 over the Vikings: In QB Andy Dalton’s return he had three TD passes and the backup RB added a rushing TD. QB Kirk Cousins also had three TD pass and RB Dalvin Cook had a rushing TD but each of them fumbled the ball away.
Colts 34-31 over the Packers (OT): The Packers had a 21-7 lead and blew the lead where they had to kick a field goal late just to take the game into overtime. The Colts kicked the game winning field goal in overtime to win it. Both QBs Aaron Rodgers and Phillip Rivers had three TD passes with an interception. Those three fumbles by the Packers came back to haunt them.
Chiefs 35-31 over the Raiders: In this divisional game the Raiders were up in the first half but then the Chiefs stormed back and both teams went back and forth until QB Patrick Mahomes threw the go ahead TD. Right after that QB Derek Carr threw an interception to seal the game. Mahomes had two TD passes and Carr had three TD passes, while RB Clyde-Edwards Helaire had two rushing TDs, Le’Veon Bell had a rushing TD, and RB Josh Jacobs had a rushing TD.
Rams 27-24 over the Buccaneers: The Rams hit the go ahead field goal late and then their defense picked off QB Tom Brady for the second time to seal the game. QB Jared Goff did have three TD passes but his two interceptions, a fumble, and the kicker missing a field goal made this game closer than it should have been.
