NFL Recap Week 9 2020:

Packers 34-17 over the 49ers: QB Aaron Rodgers had 4 TDs for the Packers but the 49ers were playing without most of their starters like QB, TE, RBS, WRs, offensive linemen and key defensive players due to injuries or Covid19.

Falcons 34-27 over the Broncos: The Falcons had a 27-6 lead entering the 4th quarter thanks to a three TD game by QB Matt Ryan and RB Todd Gurley finished things off in the 4th quarter with a  rushing TD. QB Drew Lock did his best with two passing TDs and a rushing TD but by then it was too late.

Bills 44-34 over the Seahawks: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs with a rushing TD and RB Zack Moss added a rushing TD. While QB Russell Wilson did have two passing TDs with a rushing TD, he threw two interceptions and had two fumbles.

Ravens 24-10 over the Colts: QB Lamar Jackson did not have a TD pass but he had a rushing TD so did RB Gus Edwards. The Colts offense was a mess with an interception, a fumble that was returned for a TD, four punts, and two turnovers on downs with RB Jonathan Taylor scoring their only TD.

Texans 27-25 over the Jaguars: The Texans should have won by more facing a rookie 6th round draft pick in QB Jake Luton, but they let him throw for over 300 yards, with one passing TD, a rushing TD, while letting RB James Robinson run all over them for a rushing TD. QB Deshaun Watson did have two TD passes, and RB Duke Johnson even had a rushing TD.

Chiefs 33-31 over the Panthers: The Panthers scored twice in the 4th quarter and were a field goal away from winning the game but missed it at the end at the last second of the game. QB Teddy Bridgewater threw two TD passes with a rushing TD, and in his return from injury RB Christian McCaffrey caught one of those TD passes plus added a rushing TD. QB Patrick Mahomes threw four TD passes with two going to WR Tyreek Hill.

Vikings 34-20 over the Lions: QB Kirk Cousins had three TD passes and RB Dalvin Cook had two rushing TDs. The Lions missed a field goal, fumbled the ball once and both QBS combined for three interceptions.

Titans 24-17 over the Bears: QB Ryan Tannehill had two passing TDs and his defense forced two fumbles with one of them being returned for a TD. The Bears offense didn’t wake up until it was too late in the 4th quarter with two passing TDs from QB Nick Foles.

Giants 23-20 over Washington: The Giants had a 23-10 leading entering the 4th quarter thanks to QB Daniel Jones having a passing TD and third string RB Wayne Gallman having a rushing TD. Washington lost their starting QB Kyle Allen to an ankle injury and QB Alex Smith threw three interceptions plus his team had three fumbles. All of Washington’s scoring came in the 2nd half when they were down.

Steelers 24-19 over the Cowboys: QB Ben Roethlisberger threw 3 TD passes while the Cowboys 5th string QB had one TD pass with an interception. If it weren’t for kicker Greg Zuerlein scoring 13 of their points it would have been a lot uglier.

Dolphins 34-31 over the Cardinals: The Dolphins hit a late 4th quarter field goal but then the Cardinals missed a field goal on their next possession sealing it for Miami. QB Kyler Murray did have three TD passes with a rushing TD (106 rushing yards) for Arizona. while QB Tua Tagovailoa had two passing TDs and RB Jordan Howard had a rushing TD. Miami also forced a fumble and returned it for a TD.

Raiders 31-26 over the Chargers: The Chargers had a TD overturned in the last second on a potential game winning TD to come with another way to lose a game they should have won. They missed a field goal, failed on a two-point conversion attempt and fumbled the ball away on a kickoff return. QB Derek Carr had two TD passes and two of his RBS each had rushing TDs for Las Vegas. QB Justin Herbert also had two TD passes and the 4th string RB had a rushing TD for Los Angeles.

Saints 38-3 over the Buccaneers:  QB Drew Brees had four TD passes and RB Alvin Kamara had a rushing TD. While QB Tom Brady had zero TD passes with three interceptions.

Patriots 30-7 over the Jets: QB Cam Newton led his team to two 4th quarter drives that resulted in his getting a rushing TD his second of game, and they kicked the game winning field goal. The Jets actually led for most of the game until the 4th quarter because QB Joe Flacco had three TD passes.
