Coaching Staff:
Manager-Clint Hurdle

Clint Hurdle managed the Rockies for eight years where he finished with the most wins with 543 and led them to their only NL Pennant & World Series appearance. He also was the minor league hitting instructor before joining the coaching staff for six prior to being manager. 

Bench Coach-Jim Tracy

Jim Tracy managed the Rockies for four years where he finished with the third most wins with 294 and was the bench coach when they won the NL Pennant. He also won manager of the year once the year he guided them to the playoffs.  

1stBase Coach-Don Baylor

Don Baylor managed the Rockies for six years where he finished with the second most wins with 440. He was their first manager ever where he won manager of that year due to him guiding them to the playoffs their first ever which was their first ever winning season.  He also would return later to be the hitting coach for two seasons. 

3rdBase Coach-Walt Weiss

Walt Weiss managed the Rockies for four seasons where he finished with the fourth most wins with 283 and played three seasons for them too. 

Pitching Coach-Bud Black

Bud Black a former pitcher/pitching coach has managed the Rockies for three seasons where he already has the fifth most wins with 249. He has already guided them to the playoffs twice.

Hitting Coach-Buddy Bell

Buddy Bell managed the Rockies for three seasons where he finished the sixth most wins with 161. 

Bullpen Coach- Bob Apodaca

Bob Apodaca has either been the pitching coach or a worked with the minor league pitchers since 2003. He now is an assistant to the GM but the most successful years for their pitching staff were when he coached them.

The Rockies have had one Hall of Famer play for them and have one number retried for a player but will add a second this summer. They retried the initials of a former team president who passed away.

Todd Helton spent all seventeen years of his career as the greatest player/longest tenured player where he put numbers that speak for themselves that should get him elected into the Hall of Fame soon and they retired his number 17. He made five All-Star appearances, won three gold gloves, won four silver sluggers, won the NL Hank Aaron award once, won an NL batting title once (best average in whole league) and led the majors in RBIs once while there. He also finished as the franchise leader in Rockies history for most offensive categories like having the most games played, at bats, plate appearances, runs scored, hits, total bases, doubles, home runs, RBIs, walks, singles, extra base hits, has the highest offensive WAR and the highest WAR for position players.

Larry Walker spent ten seasons in right field as the Rockies greatest/longest tenured outfielder where he put numbers that speak for themselves that got him elected into the Hall of Fame in 2020 and they will retire his number 33 this season. He made four of his five All-Star appearances, won five of his seven gold gloves, won two of his three silver sluggers, won three NL batting titles(led the majors those years), led the NL in home runs once and won the 1997 NL MVP while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the highest batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, second highest offensive WAR, second highest WAR for position players, second most walks, RBIs, home runs, total bases, doubles, hits, runs scored and extra base hits to name some. 

Matt Holiday spent six seasons in left field for the Rockies as their second greatest outfielder where he made three of his seven All-Star appearances, won three straight silver sluggers, won a NL batting title once, led the NL in RBIs once and was the 2007 NLCS MVP while there. He is most famous for scoring the winning run on sacrifice fly sliding head first to get them into the playoffs. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the second highest batting average, third highest on base percentage, fourth highest slugging percentage, seventh highest offensive WAR and seventh highest WAR for position players to name some.

Troy Tulowitzki spent ten seasons as the Rockies greatest/longest tenured shortstop where he all five of his All-Star appearances, won three fielding bible awards three times, won both of his gold gloves and won both of his silver sluggers while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the highest defensive WAR, third most walks, sixth most games played, third highest offensive WAR and the third highest WAR for position players to name some.

Andres Galarraga spent five seasons at first base for the Rockies where he made two of his five All-Star appearances, won one of his two silver sluggers, won a NL batting title once, led the NL in home runs once and led the NL in RBI twice while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the third highest batting average, slugging percentage, eight most home runs, RBIs and the ninth highest offensive WAR to name some.  

Vinny Castilla spent eleven seasons for the Rockies as their greatest/longest tenured third basemen where he made both of his All-Star appearances, won all three of his silver sluggers and led the NL in RBIs once while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the most third most home runs, at bats, fourth most games played, fifth most RBIs, total bases, plate appearances, eight highest WAR for position players and the eighth highest offensive WAR to name some.

Eric Young Sr spent five years for the Rockies as their greatest/longest tenured second basemen where he made his only All-Star appearance, won his only silver slugger and led the NL in stolen bases once while there. He also spent three seasons on their coaching staff. He is the franchise leader in stolen bases, has the fourth highest slugging percentage, eight most triples and the ninth highest defensive WAR in Rockies history.

Juan Pierre spent three seasons in center field for the Rockies where he led the majors in stolen bases once while there. He also finished with the seventh most stolen bases and has the sixth highest batting average in Rockies history. 

Yorvit Torrealba spent five seasons behind the plate for the Rockies where is their longest tenured/best catcher. He hit two important home runs in the 2007 playoffs. Some fans gave him the nickname “Mr. Rocktober”.

Aaron Cook pitched ten seasons for the Rockies as their longest tenured starter where he made one All-Star appearance while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many pitching categories in Rockies history like having the most innings pitched, games started, second most wins, second highest WAR for pitchers and third most shutouts to name some. 

Jeff Francis pitched six seasons for the Rockies where he finished in the top 10 for many pitching categories in Rockies history like having the third most wins, games started, innings pitched, shutouts and fourth most strikeouts to name some. He did win a gold medal for Canada in 2015. 

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched six seasons for the Rockies where he made his only All-Star appearance and pitched the only no-hitter in their history while there. He also finished in the top 10 in for many pitching categories in Rockies history like having the lowest ERA, highest WAR for pitchers, second most shutouts, strikeouts and third most complete games to name some. 

Jorge De La Rosa pitched nine seasons for the Rockies where he finished in the top 10 for many pitching categories in Rockies history like having the most wins, strikeouts, third highest WAR for pitchers, second most games started and innings pitched to name some.

Jason Jennings pitched six seasons for the Rockies where he won the NL Rookie of the Year while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many pitching categories in Rockies history like having the most shutouts, fourth most wins, games started, complete games and innings pitched to name some. Other notable starters in Rockies history have been Jamey Wright and Mike Hampton

Dante Bichette spent seven seasons in the outfield for the Rockies as their third greatest/second longest tenured outfielder where he made all four of his All-Star appearances, won his only silver slugger, led the NL in home runs once and led the NL in RBIs once while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the third highest batting average, third most RBIs, singles, fourth most hits, doubles and total bases to name some. 

Ellis Burks spent five seasons in centerfield for the Rockies where he made one of his two All-Star appearances and won one of his two silver sluggers while there. He also finished in the top 10 for many offensive categories in Rockies history like having the second highest slugging percentage, fourth highest on base percentage and the seventh highest batting average to name some. Other notable outfielders in Rockies history have been Brad Hawpe, active outfielders Carlos Gonzalez, Dexter Fowler and their current outfielder Charlie Blackmon

Neifi Perez spent six seasons at shortstop for the Rockies where he won his only gold glove while there. He also has the second most triples, sixth highest defensive WAR and the tenth most singles in Rockies history.

Clint Barmes spent eight seasons all over the infield for the Rockies mostly at second base but filling in for injured starters and finished with the third highest defensive WAR in Rockies history. Other notable infielders have been Garrett Atkins, active players DJ Lemahieu and their current third basemen Nolan Arenado.

Joe Girardi spent three seasons behind the plate for the Rockies where he is the second longest tenured catcher in Rockies history. Another notable catchers in Rockies history has been Chris Iannetta who just played for them last year. 
Brian Fuentes spent seven seasons as the Rockies closer where he made all four of his All-Star appearances while there. He also has the most saves, games finished, the second most games played and the tenth most strikeouts in Rockies history. 
Huston Street spent three seasons as the Rockies closer where he finished with the third most saves and games finished in Rockies history.
Steve Reed pitched seven seasons for the Rockies where he finished with the most games played, the fifth highest WAR for pitchers, has the sixth best win-loss percentage and has the eight most games finished in Rockies history.  
Rafael Betancourt pitched six seasons for the Rockies where he finished with the fifth most saves, the fifth most games finished and the seventh most games played in Rockies history. 
Matt Belisle pitched five seasons for the Rockies where finished with third most games in Rockies history. 
Curt Leskanic pitched seven seasons for the Rockies where he finished with the second best win-loss percentage, fifth most games played and eight most games finished in Rockies history. Another notable reliever in Rockies history was Jose Jimenez
