NFL Championship Round Recap 2018-2019:

Patriots 37-31 over the Chiefs: Patriots went up 17-0 early and had the ball for 23 more minutes plus harassed QB Patrick Mahomes all day with 4 sacks. They got out to that lead and kept it going because of RBS Rex Burkhead and Sony Michel who each had 2 rushing TDs. Mahomes did his best with a nice comeback attempt to take the Patriots to overtime leading his team in the 2nd half with 31 points. As he threw 3 TD passes and RB Damien Williams had a rushing TD plus he caught 2 of those 3 TD passes. But as always New England led most of the game, had the ball most of the game, they got the ball 1st in overtime and didn’t waste any time as QB Tom Brady who did have two interceptions led his team down the field for the game winning drive in OT leaving Mahomes on the bench without even touching the ball.

Rams 26-23 over the Saints: Both QBS played well enough for their team to win as Drew Brees threw 2 TD passes with an interception and Jared Goff had 1 TD pass with an interception. RB Todd Gurley added a rushing TD for LA and both kickers made at least three field goals. But this game was decided in OT by a game winning field goal for the Rams. The most controversial play was the non call for passing interference on the Rams that could have let the Saints get a TD instead of settling for a only a field goal.
