Texans 27-14 over the Raiders: in the game where no one wanted to watch QB Brock Osweiler had a competent game with no picks. 1. He had a rushing TD and a passing TD to WR DeAndre Hopkins, while RB Lamar Miller had a rushing TD. 2. Their defense picked off 3rd string QB Connor Cook as only RB Latavius Mary had a good game with a rushing TD. Up next for the Texans is a matchup with the New England in Foxborugh.
Seahawks 26-6 over the Lions: 1. Seattle’s defense had 3 sacks and held QB Matthew Stafford to no TDS and held the Lions to only two field goals. 2. QB Russell Wilson had 2 TD passes one going to WR Doug Baldwin who had over 100 yards. RB Thomas Rawls had the best game of them all with 1 TD and 161 yards rushing. Up next for the Seahawks is a matchup vs. the Falcons in Atlanta.
Packers 38-13 over the Giants: 1. QB Aaron Rodgers dominated the vaunted defense of the Giants with 4 TD passes and one was a hail-Mary TD pass at the end of the 2nd quarter just before halftime. Three of those TD passes were to WR Randal Cobb who had 116 yards and WR Davante Adams caught the other TD pass and 125 yards. Even the FB had a rushing TD. 2. The Packers picked off QB Eli Manning and forced a fumble. They also held WR Odell Beckham JR scoreless and for fewer than 30 yards as well. Up next for Green Bay is a trip to Dallas to take on the Cowboys.
Steelers 30-12 over the Dolphins: 1. Despite Ben Roethlisberger having an uneven game with two picks and 2 TDs passes with them both going to WR Antonio Brown, it was RB Le’Veon Bell who stole the show. Bell had 2 rushing TDs and 167 rushing yards. 2. The Steelers’ defense picked off QB Matt Moore once and forced two fumbles on him. Next up for Pittsburgh it’s in Kansas City to face the Chiefs.
